The base of this type of fender consists of a steel plate with mounting holes for bolts which is vulcanised inside the rubber. As standard fenders are delivered made entirely from rubber, but if required an UHMW-PE surface layer can also be added.

V Type Fenders are a single piece rubber moulding and can be manufactured from different rubber compounds, different compounds offering different characteristics. The choice of compound is made based on the design specification and the specific requirements of the application.

Inspection and certificate

We use modern technology to design and manufacture, and through rigorous field testing.

The following tests are to be conducted:

- Rubber performance test including tensile, ozone and abrasion test.

- Energy absorption and reaction test.

Our QC department will inspect each product and offer FACTORY INSPECTION REPORT before delivery. We can also invite the third party inspection agencies including CCS, ABS, BV, LR, DNV-GL to inspect and offer certificates according to customer requirements.
